I like playing. And dancing a bit. And I like to talk more now. Maybe dad will get lucky and capture me saying “mama” soon. I started saying it as a real word since last Friday.
While I still haven’t mastered crawling yet - I always slide backwards - I do love to stand. What’s more, I like the act of standing up from a sitting potision. I’ll sit down and stand up over and over again until I decide I want to go somewhere else. Then I try to walk there. I still need help from mom or dad because my balance is not so good. But I think I am getting the whole leg swing thing.
I’ve been talking a lot more recently. And I made sure to tell daddy I was very tired, so he should put his camera away and take me home so I can nap.
I played a little hide & seek with daddy when I was at the playground today. The weather very nice so I had a lot of fun, but I go tired very quickly and so we went home after a little walking around the neighborhood.
Today mommy and daddy took me to a park very near our home to see some more cherry blossoms. There was only one other family there so they got to show me all sorts of flowers and trees. But really, I was more interested in the playground.
Today my mom and dad took me to Mitsuike Koen (which means “three lake park”) for my first hanami (“flower viewing”). All the pretty cherry blossom trees were in full bloom, and so were all the families. It was very very crowded, and many people were drunk in the afternoon. But I had a nice snack and daddy walked me around while mommy ate some food. I liked touching some of the flowers, but daddy was upset he couldn’t take a picture of me next to the cherry blossoms. Too many other people were standing near them and never got out of the way. This made daddy say words that I don’t think I should say on this site.
But everyone had a nice time, so yay!
Our first weekend vacation was a lot of fun for me. I was so excited and happy all day I hardly ever took a nap – and when I did it was always short. I even went to bed several hours later than usual, but as you can see from this video I was really genki the whole time. Because I wasn’t crying so much mom and dad didn’t really seem to mind.
Daddy is especially happy because I am starting to copy some sounds he makes to me, and I am beginning to understand that the sound “dada” means him. He is very easily amused. But then again, so am I.
I went with mommy & daddy & baba and jipa to a place called Atami. It was my first long train ride (about 1 hour) and my first time to stay in a hotel. I was so excited the whole time that I never really took a nap and didn’t sleep so much at night. But I was happy the whole time! I think my dad will upload a video soon.
Here is a video of me from yesterday. My dad says he wants to get a tripod for his camera so he can keep it still. I bet he gets a small one first so he can keep it close to my height!
On the weekends, mom and dad take me out together. Right next to our home there is a small park and playground. I am still too small to use the playground, but I do have lots of fun when mom and dad hold me up high and swing me around in the air. Dad is stronger than mom, so sometimes he will toss me in the air - which I love!
