I had a nice time with Dada today for Father’s Day. We went to Kid-O-Kid in the morning and played with a lot of toys and stuff. I particularly liked driving the fire truck and panda by the Arc de Triomphe.

I love my Stitch...

... so much!
Mama and Dada took me and my toy Melonpan-chan to Tokyo Disney! First we went to a hotel yesterday and Melonpan-chan and I had spaghetti for dinner. Then we took and bath and I stayed up really late because I knew we were going to see Mickey Mouse. On the way to the hotel and all night long before I fell asleep, I kept saying “Mickey” over and over again - even though Mama and Dada didn’t tell me we would be seeing him. But I am a kid, I can sense things like that.
So this morning, Melonpan-chan and I woke up and watched one of my favorite shows, and kept telling Dada who all the characters were. Then we had breakfast, but I wasn’t hungry. I was too excited to see Mickey. So we went to the park and we mostly walked around because it was filled with lots of people. Mama and Dada were a bit surprised about this because it isn’t a holiday or weekend - and school is still going.
They really wanted to take me to see the Pooh ride, but the wait was about 2 hours. So they got a special ticket to come back and ride it later in the day in a shorter line. So we went to It’s A Small World - and I already knew how to sing it. I liked it a lot, but was kind of tired because it was really hot outside and the air conditioner made the ride a comfy place to take a nap. I was conflicted - nap or look at the singing puppets. I figured I could nap later, so I watched the singing and dancing puppets.
Next, we went to The Haunted Mansion because Dada said it is his favorite and they thought I would be too young to understand that ghosts are scary. When we started waiting in line, I realized I didn’t have my Melonpan-chan with me. I got really really upset. Really upset. You don’t even know. Once I was able to have her again, though, after 10 minutes, I was completely calm the rest of the day. Now, about Haunted Mansion, for the most part I wasn’t scared, but Mama was!!! (Dada only got scared at the long hallway part.)
Then we went to The Tiki Room, but Dada was disappointed because it is much shorter, they changed all the songs and it’s mostly about Stitch. Personally, I love Stitch, and I can’t see how the show would be better without him. He is awesome. He’s the best. Dada asked me if I thought Stitch was “dope”, and I said “yeah”. I didn’t understand what that meant, but I thought I would say “yeah” to make him happy.
After that, we went to The Pirates of the Caribbean, which Mama and Dada love. Dada was a bit disappointed that they changed the ride a bit to put in some guy called Jack Sparrow, but he still had a good time. I just thought it was kind of scary when the boat went very fast and all those loud cannons kept firing around us. But the music was nice and I sang “yo ho ho ho” a few times.
Then we went back to the Pooh ride, but there was a parade blocking the street, so we stopped to watch it in the shade for a while. I liked seeing Pooh and Mickey and Stitch. When we got inside the Pooh ride I got to see him everywhere. I sat with just Mama on the ride, and Dada sat behind me and shot some video which he says he will put on my site. After the ride was done we went to the Pooh Corner store and I got a hat which I love love love. I also got a couple of small Pooh toys because Mama and Dada thought I would want that. (I have been watching a lot of the Winnie The Pooh movie recently!) What they didn’t know is that I wanted a Stitch toy.
After the rides we went back to the exit and got some ice cream. It was my first time ever to have an ice cream sandwich and I liked it a lot. Dada got some frozen apple juice and I liked it, too - but it was really really cold so I didn’t eat that much of it. On our way back through the shopping area I saw lots of Stitch toys and kept telling Dada about them. So he said he would get me a Stitch toy.
As soon as we got inside the store, I saw the one I wanted on the other side of the store and I grabbed it right away and said “Please! Ok! Thank you!” to Dada many times. He gave me a big kiss and took me to the register. I handed the toy to the man and said “Please! Stitch! Thank you!” and he laughed and said “You’re welcome!” and gave it back to me. And I held him all the way home. And I brought him to the dinner table. And I even took him to bed.
The fact that even though I was really tired and I didn’t take a nap all day shows that I loved going to Disney. But I love my Stitch even more!
Happy New Year! Mommy and Daddy and I got very sick and had to go to the hospital a few times starting the morning of Christmas Eve. I even had to go back again at night on Christmas Day. Mommy and I are doing much better now, but Daddy is still having a high temperature and problems with his kidney.
BUT! We have all spent lots of time together and Daddy hasn’t gone to work in so many days. Today we went to the park - and it was my first time to play outside in 2010! I had a lot of fun, but I got tired pretty quickly.
Daddy says he is sorry the video doesn’t have sound.
I went to an aquarium today in Tokyo. Mama wanted us to see a dolphin show, but once they started jumping and splashing in the water, I got a bit scared. Also, seeing so many people got me really tired. So Mama and Dada pushed me in my stroller for a while so I could look at all the pretty fish. I think Dada may put some pictures on his website.

Hi there!

This live band isn't so good.

Why are you taking my picture?

I love my Jiji!

I'm coming, Dada.

Window shopping is for buying windows?

Almost got it.

Let's get over that way!

Upside-down time is the best time!
Today Mama, Dada, Jiji and I went out for a walk at Lazona, the big shopping area a couple of blocks from where we live.Mama accidentally left my shoes in the diaper room, so we had to go back and get then, but we still had a lot of fun running around. Well, I did, at least. I recently got my first haircut, too, so Mama and Dada thought it would be nice to take pictures.
PS - I love hanging upside-down. Every morning when I see Dada I make him let me hang upside-down, many times without even giving him a “good morning” kiss.
Dada’s shoes are much bigger than mine. And both Mama’s & Dada’s shoes are less colorful than mine. I like wearing shoes because that means I get to go outside and walk! I love walking. It’s a lot of fun for me, and Mama takes me outside at least two times a day to walk in a park or other buildings. I also like to walk around inside my home. Did I mention that I think walking is fun? Well, it is. I should know! I do it so much every day. Because it is so fun! Yay! Walking!
Today Mama and Dada took me to Odaiba. It was my first time there, and I had a pretty nice time. It got pretty warm and sunny today, so everyone got tired. I slept in my stroller while they bought some things for the house. But I got to run around outside by the Tokyo Bay and play with the big crying bears.
Oh yeah, I’m walking now. In fact, I ran for the first time, today!
Mama’s site has lots of videos of me from her new iPod Nano, so maybe you should look there, too.

Let's play...

I swear I'm not sleepy!
Recently when Mama and Dada put me to bed, I don’t want to go to sleep. I want to keep playing. I don’t let the fact that I can only stand for a few moments or that I prefer to play while lying down get in the way of that desire, either. But Mama & Dada are very persistent and I always endup going to bed, but Mama likes to comfort me and Dada keeps me entertained the whole time.
Also, I thought I should tell you… I own two small blankets - a green one and a yellow one which I like to cover my face with when I get sleepy. I call both of them Zaza, and Mama & Dada only say it to me when they ask me if i want to go to sleep. Maybe when I say it back to them they think I mean I want to go to bed. Really, I just want to put it in my face… And rest my eyes… In my bed… With the lights off… For 8 hours. But I’m not sleepy. I promise you that.
Also, you can kind of see that my front teeth are starting to come in nicely now.
I like drinking from juiceboxes. I also like pulling straws out of juiceboxes and trying to get the juice from the other end of the straw. It doesn’t seem to work out well, but that doesn’t stop me from trying over and over again. At least I am startign to be able to put the straw back into the box, though. That’s really heard to do!!!

Baba & Jiji wanted to have special pictures taken of me when I was in Hokkaido. We just got them in the mail. Mama is really happy with the pictures, and says she likes one with me in the striped dress where I am standing to the side of the blue box the most. Dada likes the ones where I am titling my head and smiling - but he seems to think the white frilly dress is out of character for me. I think next time he wants pictures like these he will ask me to wear a kimono. But I guess that will happen when I turn 3 years old…
I hope you enjoy the pictures!
